Vinnie Aubrey represents a wide range of creditors in various practice areas, though his primary focus has been managing a high-volume collections practice for non-bank lenders, banks, credit unions, and MCA providers.

Vinnie is uniquely qualified to provide the Firm’s Fintech clients with expert practical advice, having spent five plus years as in-house counsel and VP of Collections for CAN Capital, which, at the time, was the leading non-bank lender and MCA provider in the country. Vinnie is one of the few attorneys in the country with a specialized knowledge of the merchant cash advance product, as well as expertise in all compliance and regulatory issues relative to collecting on the same.

Vinnie has developed an approach to legal problem solving that is collaborative, innovative, and pragmatic. He finds that careful listening, followed by fair mediation, can often resolve even difficult challenges. Vinnie has consulted for several finance companies, providing assessments and recommendations to improve internal collections policies and procedures.
